Puerto Madryn, Peninsula Valdes and a RISK game

As you all know, we are in Puerto Madryn right now and are enjoying the sunny days we missed so much while travelling south in the patagonian region. We are back to wearing shorts and sandals leaving the fleece we brought with us in the hostel.

Yesterday we rented a car and drove to Peninsula Valdes (A nature reserve full of seals, penguins, whales and Orcas) with a french couple we met in the city.

It was really nice. Although we didn't get to see any Orcas, we got to see the seals, sea lions and the penguins. It is important to mention that it is not a zoo like we are used to. It is all in the nature and you get to see how the animals really live while they are not captured.

Hilla took a nice photo of 2 penguins together. Here it is:

(FOR OPHIR) In the evening when we got back, we stayed at the hostel and ate a good dinner we cooked. After dinner, we and 5 other people from the hostel played RISK together until 3 in the morning. Yes Ophir i know you envy us.

Today we bought a bus ticket to Buenos Aires. We are taking the 15:00 bus and will arrive there 20 hours later, 10:00 the next day. Well then, we will get ready now, go get something to eat and get on the way to the bus terminal. See ya.

Hi :)

Well, it was unfortunate we didn't manage to chat on MSN (just for a few seconds) but the pictures certainly made up for it. Hila, the 2 penguin picture was really cute :D

Have a good trip to Buenos Aires and keep in touch with nature ;)

Freaking GEONI !!!! Now if u had told me that there was going to be a RISK game, THAT would have probably persuaded me to come!!!! By Kraus' comment I see that i'm not the only one who's envious of you :-) Remember, from experience, I can tell you that North America is the best territory to hold on to!!
